Window Decorating Competition
Businesses showcase their creativity with their vibrant and festive holiday window displays. Windows will be completed for everyone’s viewing pleasure by December 12th, adding to the enchanting atmosphere of downtown Delavan. Vote for your favorite by Friday, December 19th and the winner will be announced and honored at that Saturday’s event!

11:00 am – 6:00 pm: Shop Local – Attendees can look forward to exploring local businesses adorned with festive decorations and filled with holiday specials and treats.Check out local pop-up shops and our Christmas Market for great gift ideas!
11:00 am – 4:00 pm: Cookies with a Cop– Come join Santa, the Grinch, and your neighborhood police officers for this year’s Cookies with Cops event at the American Legion Post 95. Plenty of cookies, cocoa, cider, holiday crafts, and photos with Santa for all ages! Professional photos provided by JV Family Photography!
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Strolling Carolers – Members of the Light of the World Choir will start at Tower Park and move easterly along Walworth Avenue spreading Christmas cheer!
12:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Carriage Rides – After spending the day shopping, drinking, and dining at our Downtown Delavan businesses, relax with a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride! For a small fee of $10 per person, you can depart from either of two stops and enjoy a trip that will take you along sections of Walworth Ave and our holiday decorated businesses, past Tower Park home of Delavan’s Giant Christmas Tree and past various Walldog murals. While you wait for your ride warm up at one of the two designated carriage stops; LSJ Music Co 127 Park Place or Kristin Hardwick LLC at 407 E. Walworth Ave.
Carriage rides will continue until all passengers waiting at 4:00 pm are accommodated. Carriage rides are being provided by Claystone Stock Farms, Inc. which features magnificent Clydesdales!
